Fly Ash

We are one of the leading manufacturer, exporter and supplier of a wide range of fly ash. It is basically used in the construction of innovative buildings. The Fly Ash offered by us to our clients is widely appreciated for its use as an additive in various cement and concrete products. We provide transportation of ordered material at your doorstep through our sister concern M/s Suyog Logistics, to ensure that your unit can avail our products 24x7. Moreover, we offer highly reasonable prices to our clients. Besides, we ensure that all our customers get supplied materials as per their business requirements.

Retantion 10% to 30% on 45 micron sieve.

 Product: Fly-ash
  • Introduction: The Fly Ash range is an artificial pozzolan, specially designed to achieve optimum performance on most cement and concrete applications. In the production of  high quality PFA were selected and industrially processed in order to obtain maximum performance as a cement replacement product. The brand is reserved only for those grades which meet the Indian Standard 3812.
  • Process :The process used to produce  Fly Ash significantly reduces the amount of unburned particles leading to a virtually carbon free material. Optimum reactivity is obtained by rejecting the less reactive crystalline Fly Ash particles and by increasing the specific surface of the final product.
  • Packing :Products are available, depending on the product grade, in 40 kg HDPE bags, Jumbo (big) bags carrying 1 - 1.3 MT. , loose supply in 15 - 25 MT road tankers (bulkers)  and on customer request in break bulk shipments.
  • Advantage :The use of this advanced pozzolanic Fly Ash material provides an effective reduction of the mixing water required and superior strength development, allowing high replacement rates that are not possible with normal cement additions. Compared to other Supplementary Cement Products Fly Ash in general and processed fly ash specifically provides changes to concrete in its fresh and hardened state.
The cement replacement rate depends on cement and admixture type and on type of use. For normal concrete production using OPC, replacement rates in the range of 35% are recommended. For each single application the proper mix design shall be determined by appropriate testing.

The proper use of results in long term technical improvements of the final product and at the same time ensures major cost savings to the user.

The main advantages in concrete are
  • Improved Workability
  • Improved Durability
  • Reduced Heat of Hydration
  • Setting time
  • Quality : The Suyog Laboratories are fully equipped for the testing and evaluation of the physical and chemical parameters of fly ash specified in the Indian standard (IS 3812).
The following physical and chemical properties are measured in the factory laboratories
  • Physical properties
    • Fineness by Blaine-Permeability method
    • Fineness by Retention on 45 micron sieve -Wet sieving
    • Lime Reactivity
    • Moisture Content
    • Soundness by Autoclave expansion
    • Strength factor - Compressive strength at 28 days
    • Initial and Final Setting time
    • Water requirement
  • Chemical properties
    • Loss on Ignition (Un-burnt carbon content)
    • Silica plus Alumina plus Fe2O3 content
    • Silica content
    • Reactive Silica content
    • MgO content
    • Sulphuric Anhydride (SO3) content
    • Na2O content
    • Total Chlorides
    • Calcium Oxide content
    • Free Calcium Oxide content
  • Application: Mortar For Plaster
Mortar for bricklaying
  • Structural Concrete
  • Ready Mix Concrete
  • General Guidelines: The optimum level of replacement of Cement with fly ash within the concrete mix will be between 20 -35% by weight for normal RCC structures.
It is a fact that the addition of flay ash will have a plasticizing effect on your concrete and we would recommend that you reduce the total volume of water in the concrete by at least 5 - 10% to achieve the same workability as Portland cement concrete and to give the guarantee of strength development. In addition you may find that reducing the amount of sand by 1 - 3% by weight will be beneficial to the final mix.

In general there is a slight slowing down in the setting time of concrete yielding slightly lower 7-days strength as compared to Ordinary Portland Cement Concrete. However the concrete can be designed accordingly to achieve appropriate 7- days or early strengths.

Guidelines for
Plaster Mortar: Fly Ash improves the surface finish of mortars and reduce the level of surface cracking it will also lead to a decrease in water penetration of the hardened product. The use of fly ash in plaster gives a better surface finish, more time for finishing and a virtually crack-free surface, leading to a higher quality look to all walls.

We would recommend a 25% - 40% replacement level of OPC cement by weight.

Guidelines For

Bricklaying Mortar : Fly Ash is an ideal product for bricklaying mortar due to the increased cohesiveness and flow ability of material when added to the mix.
We would recommend a replacement level of 30 - 45% of OPC cement by weight.
